Later this week community safety officials will meet with police to discuss the issue of vigilantism.

This past weekend, two bodies were discovered by police in Khayelitsha.

Police believe the two are victims of mob justice.

This is the third incident of mob justice in the Cape in recent weeks.

Community safety spokesperson Greg Wagner said they will be taking this matter up with the police commissioner.

Wagner added that MEC for community safety Dan Plato will meet with local councilors in Khayelitsha later this week to discuss the issue.

The latest incident comes just days after three bodies were discovered in Macassar.

The three men were suspected of stealing a flat screen television and a DVD player.

Four suspects have been arrested for their murders.
