A construction worker sustained injuries this morning after falling approximately five meters from scaffolding.
The incident happened at a construction site near the Cape Gate
The cause of the incident is unknown at this stage.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene they found the man, in his 40's, at the bottom of the scaffolding construction. The man was in severe pain.
ER24`s Andre Vissersaid that they treated the man for broken arms as well as a suspected back and neck injury before transporting him to the nearby for further treatment.
