A group of HIV positive residents took to the streets of Cape Town yesterday.
The reason for the protest was that they want the government to offer an alternative when their social grants are discontinued.
Government is in the process of re-registering people on social grants.
Western Cape secretary of the National Association of People with Aids, Siphiwe Mzhimelo says they are concerned that HIV grant beneficiaries will not be re-registered again.
