Agriculture and Fisheries officials yesterday received a perlemoen delivery worth about 27-million-Rands in Cape Town.
This delivery comes three weeks after it was detained in Hong Kong.
The illegally-harvested seafood was taken after having been shipped from South Africa to Hong Kong.
The detained batch weighed more than two-and-a-half-thousand-kilograms. Lionel Adendorf the department spokesperson says this is the first batch to be returned to SA after docking in a foreign country.
