Nkoana-Mashabane says SA stands out on the continent

Minister of international relations and cooperation Maite Nkoana-Mashabane said at a lecture at the University of Cape Town last night, the department has used the last 18-years of freedom to reposition the country within the continent and the rest of the world.

She said that South Africa stands out as one of the countries who strive for peace, prosperity, democracy and infrastructure development.

Nkoana-Mashabane says that South Africa is one of the few countries which can champion diplomacy.

She added by saying South Africans need to stand together as South Africa changes the face of the continent.
