Passop refugees protest

Today the People Against Suffering, Oppression and Poverty said it was concerned illegal immigrants were being labelled as thieves and drug dealers.
More than 100 people marched to Parliament, to raise awareness about the challenges they face in obtaining official documentation.
Demonstrators banged African drums and waved placards.
Braam Hanekom Passop said the Maitland Refugee Reception Centre is crowded.
