A housing conference involving more than 140 youth organisations began in Cape Town yesterday.
Young South Africans will engage in the conference with the Human Settlements Department about the role they play in addressing the housing problem in the Western Cape.
The first day of the two-day summit commenced with Premier Helen Zille calling on disadvantaged youth to make a change in their present living conditions.
She continued to say that the government must create policies to help young people better their current situations.
