A 6 year-old was seriously injured in an accident in Bishop Lavis

A six year old boy sustained serious injuries this afternoon, after he was struck by a car on Valhalla drive in Bishop Lavis.
Western Cape Provincial Department of Health, Emergency Medical Services say the cause of the accident is not known at this stage.
ER24`s Andre Visser says that when paramedics arrived at the scene they found the child in severe pain and his right leg was broken.
Visser says he was treated at the scene before being transport to the Red Cross Children`s Hospital for further treatment.
