Democratic Alliance demands the release of the fracking report

The Democratic Alliance issued a media statement today that says in light of recent news that the ANC stands to benefit financially from fracking, The  Mineral Resources Minister Susan Shabangu must commit herself to ensuring transparency in the allocation of fracking rights.

Democratic Alliance` David Ross said that he will write to the minister and request the release of the fracking report.

Ross also said the process governing the applications for fracking exploration remains covered in mystery.

Ross further said that the DA will continue to apply pressure until she releases the report.
