On the 13th of April 2011 Andries Tatane was murdered during a protest.
Tatane`s death brought a lot of controversy with regard to the police`s ability to control crouds.
The Democratic Left Front on Friday the 13th of April will be demonstrating at the offices of the provincial police commissioner in Johannesburg
DLF` s Athish Kirun said that they will picket in remembrance of Andries Tatane.
Kirun added that their demonstration is aimed at raising awareness on police brutality and state repression.
