Department of Lunches a pedestrian safety campaign

The Department of Transport launched a pedestrian safety campaign in Johannesburg today.

The department has teamed up with fleet management company Eqstra, who will be conducting awareness and education programmes for drivers and pedestrians.

Murray Price the managing director of Eqstra says the Think Pedestrian campaign will be initially implemented in the Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga and KwaZulu-Natal.

The campaign will then be spread to other provinces.
