A campaign called South African Freedom Week will be hosted by the Right2Know campaign.
The series of events kick-off tomorrow on Freedom day and will continue on 1 May which is Workers Day and 3 May which is World Press Freedom Day.
The Right2Know’s Murray Hunter said they are calling a national week of action that they are calling freedom week.
He added that events were organised in the provinces in which they are active in, where people can celebrate the freedom that has been achieved so far.
Hunter said the events are also aimed at showing how far the country needs to go as a democracy, to strengthen freedom and to realise freedom and to achieve rights that people are still struggling for.
