Tanzania's ruling party has certified a demand by President Jakaya Kikwete that several government ministers should be sacked for corruption.

The country’s auditor-general recently handed Kikwete a report implicating numerous political and state officials.

Members of parliament are now demanding the firing of at least eight ministers.
