The City of Cape Town has announced that they plan to accommodate the low cost houses in the wealthy areas like Constantia.
The Congress of South African Trade Unions has welcomed the announcement.
The organisation said that this was an initiative by the ANC during the elections for the establishment of integrated non-racial communities in the city.
Cosatu Spokesperson Tony Ehrenreich says the DA is now forced to build low cost houses.
