The Department of Arts and Culture will be holding a workshop today in Benoni, Gauteng.

Experts from

Brazil

and the

United Kingdom

are expected to join various government representatives at the workshop.

Spokesman Mack Lewele says the carnival sector in the country is not as thriving as it should be.

He also said it has a good potential to contribute to the tourism numbers in the country.
