Thembalethu residents in George made a shocking discovery when they found a four-month-old baby dumped in a toilet on Wednesday evening.
The baby was immediately taken to George Hospital
A case of attempted murder and negligence has been opened by the Southern Cape Police.
The Western Cape Social Development Department has expressed its concern, over the growing increase of baby dumping.
Social Development Spokesperson Melany Kuhn says that people need to take responsibility for their babies.
