Gang-related shootings leave children injured

On Wednesday afternoon a three-year-old boy was shot in his right hand in Manenberg during a shooting incident.
The Preliminary investigation revealed that three men were standing on the corners of Thames Avenue and Thames Lane which is the territory of the American Gang.
Two of the men fired shots down Manenberg Avenue injuring the boy.
On another incident on Wednesday evening two girls aged 12-years-old were wounded in a shooting incident in Hanover Park.
Reports show that the two girls were playing outside their homes in Lansman Walk when the shooting occurred.
Police Captain FC Van Wyk says the children were taken to Hanover Park Hospital.
He also urged the public to assist in fighting these gang-related incidents.
