The MEC of Human Settlements in the Western
Cape Bonginkosi Madikizela today handed over houses as part of the Nuwe Begin
Housing Project.
The Nuwe Begin Project was started in 2007
after some beneficiary communities were affected by flood.
When completed the project will deliver
1200 houses and phase.
The department has already reserved 900
houses for the Khayelitsha beneficiaries and 300 for the Greater Blue Downs and
Mfuleni beneficiaries.
