The Western Cape Human Settlement Department will be handing over houses as part of the Nyanga Housing Project this week.

The project has been a controversial one with workers in April downing tools citing security threats.

Western Cape Human Settlement Department Spokesperson Bruce Oom says this project will deliver nearly One-Thousands-Five Hundred Units.

He also said they will start on Thursday whereby the first beneficiary will be a 91-year-old person.
