The Democratic Alliance National Spokesperson Mmusi Maimane will be visiting Bree Taxi Rank in Johannesburg on Thursday.
Maimane`s visit to the area comes after the petrol price increase has been hiked to about R12 per litre.
Maimane will be going around to taxi operators and commuters to ask their views about the increase in the price of petrol.
Maimane says his visit is to engage in talks and try to come up with creative suggestions for government to be able to lessen the prices.
