A 30 year-old male was arrested for illegal possession of uncut diamonds in Malmersbury.
The suspect was arrested will appear in court today.
The police Spokesperson Captain Fredericks van Wyk says the Maitland Flying Squad was patrolling in Malmesbury when they received information about a house from which drugs are being sold.
He says police arrived at a house in Gousblom street Wesbank, where they searched the house and the car and found the diamonds.
