This morning a bad accident was reported in Sir Lowry’s Pass.
ER24’s Vanessa Jackson said that they believe a truck and a sedan was travelling up the pass when they collided.
She added that at this stage they are not sure why they collided or what the cause was.
When paramedics arrived at the scene they found both vehicles with extensive damage.
The driver of the sedan died on the scene.
The four guys in the truck sustained minor to moderate injuries and was treated on the scene.
Jackson said they were then transported to hospital for further care.
