Today the MEC of Education in the Western Cape Donald Grant visited the Athlone area to take part in a school counter truancy operation.
The operation was in collaboration with the Western Cape Cape Town
During the operation 50 children from 20 schools were caught for being late at school.
MEC of Education in the Western Cape Donald Grant says the operation was a success.
