30 000 jobs to be created in the green economy

Water and Environmental Affairs Minister Edna Molewa aims to create 300-thousand new jobs in the green economy.

The Minister was speaking at the World Environment Day celebrations in Bloemfontein.

Edna Molewa said that the environment sector green economy implementation plan had this year received a boost of 800-million-Rands for the Green Fund over the next two financial years.

Government is now looking for partnerships to create the hundreds of thousands of jobs.
