Forty five farm workers were injured in a truck accident on the Meats Road outside Bethelem in the Free State earlier this morning.
The cause of the accident remains uncertain and will form the subject of a South African Police Force investigation.
Jeffery Wicks of Netcare 911 says nearly one hundred and twenty five workers were being transported on the back of the heavy goods truck.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene to find the injured lying near the roadway.
