The Democratic Alliance says the Public Protector needs to investigate Minister Dina Pule.
This comes after media reports, reported that Phosane Mngqibisa drew sponsorship fees for the recent ICT Indaba from the account of the event organisers.
The report alleges that Mngqibisa is romantically linked the Minister.
DA Shadow Minister of Communications Marian Shin says the Public Protector must assure South Africans that their money was not misused.
