The Democratic Alliance wants the former police Commissioner Bheki Cele to have his day in court.
The DA says cele must answer on the findings of the commission as well as the findings of the Public Protector.
The DA Shadow Minister of Police Dianna Kohler Barnard says both findings are sufficient to institute criminal charges against Cele.
She also said anything less than a criminal investigation into Bheki Cele will pose a question on Government`s commitment in fighting crime and corruption.
