The South African Police Services Today arrested three Driver Licensing Testing Centre officials and two driving school owners in Calitzdrop and Oudtshoorn.

The arrests were a joint operation involving undercover operatives from the Hawks.

Spokesperson in the Ministry of Transport and Public Works Siphesihle Dube says this is part of an ongoing operation to fight crime and corruption.

He added that these corrupt individuals are damaging the society with their corrupt activities and they are contributing to the road carnages by putting unskilled drivers on the road.
