Father arrested for murdering his 2 toddlers

Cape Town police have arrested a 50-year-old Muizenberg father following the killing of his two toddlers.

The three-year-old girl and the two-year-old boy had their throats slit at their Village Heights informal residence this morning.

The father is being treated in hospital under police custody, after attempting to commit suicide in the same way.

The man collected the children from their crèche this morning.
