Correctional Services Minister Sbusiso Ndebele has called on his Department to do their utmost to ensure that offenders while in prisons become better than they were.
The Minister was speaking at the Westville Correctional Centre.
The Departments` Spokesperson Logan Maistry says the Minister visited the Westville Correctional Youth Centre and the female and child units as part of the Youth Month.
Maistry says the minister has called for the donations of books and baby items for prisoners, with babies.
