The National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) responded to a sea rescue on Saturday in Agulhas.
The NSRI’s Craig Lambinon said they were alerted by the fishing vessel Piranha that the vessel was sinking.
Ten fisherman was onboard the vessel at the time.
Lambinon said when the NSRI arrived on the scene they found that two private fishing vessels had already arrived and five of the fisherman was taken off the fishing vessel.
The remaining five fisherman was towed to Struis Baai harbour onboard the fishing vessel.
The vessel was recovered safely and all the fisherman was unharmed.
