Minister in the Presidency Collins Chabane says young people should resist being exploited in service delivery protests.

Chabane spoke at a Youth Day event in Port Elizabeth.

His remarks were directed at the youth that were protesting at Wolfson stadium.

A group of Silvertown residents were protesting outside the stadium, claiming that they were not informed about the event.

He urged young people to focus on their education and uplifting their lives.

Chabane says instead of destroying infrastructure during violent protests, young people should play a significant role in serving their communities.
