The MEC for Transport and Public Works in the Western Cape Robin Carlisle has warned driver licence seekers not to involve themselves in corruption.
This comes after Driver Licence Testing Centre Officials and driving school owners in Calitzdorp were arrested last week.
The MEC’s spokesperson Siphesihle Dube said the MEC sent a stern warning to people who wish to obtain their drivers licence through corruption, that they will be caught.
He added that the process in investigations is underway.
Dube said the people will be identified and the police together with the department will ensure that these people are brought to justice.
