The Democratic Alliance have marched to the Basic Education department offices in Limpopo to protest against the late delivery of textbooks in the province.
The DA’s education spokeswoman in the province Desiree van der Walt has called for the textbooks for 2013 to be delivered by no later than the 30th of November this year.
Van der Wallt also welcomed the appointment of former Higher Education Director General Mary Metcalf.
Metcalf has been tasked with verifying if the books reached all the affected schools. Her report on the delivery is expected on Friday.
