The Premier of Mpumalanga David Mabuza will meet with the DA today to discuss the backing of the Youth Wage Subsidy.
DA provincial leader Anthony Benadie said the subsidy together with the sustainable jobs can motivate the province's economic growth and create a better life for the people.
He added that Mabuza is obligated to give young people the opportunity to gain valuable work experience.
Benadie said every year Mpumalanga loses thousands of youth’s who travel to other provinces due to the lack of opportunities in the province.
He added that they certainly believe that if Mabuza is serious about creating jobs in the province, then he should endorse the implementation of the Youth Wage Subsidy.
