President Jacob Zuma has appointed Deputy Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene as leader of a five-member task team to probe the delays in delivering textbooks to Limpopo schools.
The team has to map out remedial action.
Zuma wants those responsible to be held accountable and face the consequences.
Yesterday, Zuma met with Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga, who apologised for the crisis.
