Two accidents left two people dead

A man was struck by a car in Johannesberg this morning.
The incident occurred at the crossing of the R101 Old Johannesberg Road in Valhalla .
The cause of the accident is unknown at this stage.
Netcare911’s Jeffery Wicks said that the man died on the scene.
In another incident a six year old girl was killed in a hit and run incident in Soweto
The series of events leading up to her death remains unclear and will be under Police investigation.
Netcare911`s Jeffery Wicks said that the girl was on her way to school when she was struck by the vehicle.
Wicks said that the driver of the vehicle fled the scene soon after the impact.
