A was woman arrested for carrying tik

Western Cape police reported that a suspected drug mule was arrested at Cape Town International Airport.

According to Captain FC Van Wyk the woman was arrested for allegedly carrying 10.5 kg of tik, with an estimated street value of R3 million.

Van Wyk says the suspect arrived in Cape Town on a flight from Johannesburg her luggage was searched when she appeared suspicious.

The suspect was detained and will appear in the Bellville Magistrates Court tomorrow on charges of dealing with drugs.

This is not the suspect’s first offence.

She was arrested in 2006 in Johannesburg for dealing in Dagga.
