A Klawer primary school pupil died this morning after he fell after hanging onto a school bus and lost his grip.
It is alleged that the driver was unaware that the learner had attached himself to the bus.
Education Department Spokesperson Bronagh Casey said an official report on the incident had not yet been received.
Education Department sent their condolences to family and friends of the learner.
