President Jacob Zuma has sent an inter-ministerial committee led by Minister in the Presidency Collins Chabane to the Lonmin mine in the North West
The committee includes nine other ministers.
This follows the killing of 34 people over the past 10 days at the Lonmin mine in North West
Presidency Spokesperson Mac Maharaji said that the task is to support and arrange counselling for families.
He added that they will also help to co-ordinate the burials .
