At least 24 people have been killed in ten blasts across Iraq including a car bomb outside the French consulate in the usually stable city of Nassiriya.
It is reported that early this morning 11 soldiers were killed and seven injured in Dujail, 50-kilometers north of Baghdad.
This happened when gunmen and a suicide bomber attacked a military base.
Police recruits lining up to apply for jobs were attacked in another bombing in the northern city of Kirkuk killing seven and wounding 17.
