Collision leaves one person injured

A Devonshire Road collision involving a bakkie and a light motor vehicle left one person injured.

 

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene and found both vehicles in the road. When paramedics assessed the vehicles’ occupants, a passenger in the bakkie to be in a lot of pain.

 

The patient was treated for suspected neck and back injuries. He needed Advanced Life Support intervention before being transported to a nearby hospital.

Police were at the scene and are investigating the accident further
