Last week Mitchell’s Plain police arrested 466 people across Mitchell’s plain for various crimes.

This week so far another 19 arrests have been made, after Mitchell`s Plain police executed a number of searches for the possession of drugs and various other successful confiscations.

Two suspects were arrested for the possession of drugs while police were doing routine patrols and they will appear in Mitchell’s Plain court on charges relating to possession of drugs.

Captain FC Van Wyk further adds that these kinds of successes are a reflection of the good co- operation that exists between the community of Mitchell’s Plain and the SAPS
