The death toll from the recent floods in
the Eastern Cape could rise as
police are still searching for two men missing in Port Elizabeth and Kirkwood .
Nineteen-year-old John Smit was swept off a bridge in Kwanobuhle on Sunday.
The police’s Priscilla Naidu says the search is also continuing for a 32-year-oldKirkwood man who was swept
away by the Wit River on Saturday.
Last week, emergency workers said eight people had died in the storms that hit the province.
