Four students stabbed in CT

Four students at a Mitchell’s Plain school stabbed each other interval. It is reported that the Aloe Jnr High school pupils were taken to hospital and one is in a very serious condition.

Three of the students involved in the incident are in grade 9 and the other in grade 7.

Bronagh Casey, spokesperson for education MEC Donald Grant, said the pupils have been questioned by police and an investigation by the department is underway.

A disciplinary hearing would also be held in order to determine what the reasons are behind the stabbing.Provincial police spokesperson Andre Traut has however said it seemed as though the pupils had been arguing.  Arrests are  yet to been made.

In a different incident, two young men will appear in the Mossel Bay Magistrate's Court later today for the death of a 19-year-old at a school in the area. Thabani Mntini was stabbed in the face and chest at Hillcrest Secondary School on Monday.
