The MEC of Health in the Western Cape Thenus Botha officially opened the George Hospital
Construction of the hospital’s Emergency Centre commenced in June 2011 at a cost of R8 million for the infrastructure.
R2.4 million was used for equipment, forming part of the R121 million refurbishment of George Hospital
The Minister’s Spokesperson Helene Rossouw said the George Hospital
The last phase of the construction is estimated to be finished in the middle of 2013.
