Hout Bay accident autopsy report indicates drowning

A post mortem has been conducted on the two males that died as a result of the boat accident in Hout Bay on Saturday. 

Disaster Risk Management Spokesperson Wilfred Solomon Johannes said the autopsy has indicated that the cause of death is consistent with drowning, and the manner of death listed as an accident. 

A boat carrying 38 people capsized in Hout Bay leaving two people died. 

Solomon Johannes added that they are in close contact with both families and the City of Cape Town is helping the families with agreements.
