No one injured in court blaze

Limpopo emergency workers reported  that no one was injured in this morning’s huge fire which completely destroyed the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court.The building collapsed after the blaze.

Visitors, workers and awaiting trial prisoners were evacuated while a black column of smoke hung over the building.

Police spokesperson Ronel Otto says it is unclear how the fire started.

It appeared to have had its origin in one of the magistrate’s offices
