Seven people were injured in an accident on the R102 near the Umhlali police station just after earlier today.
It is alleged that three vehicles and a truck collided; the exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative.
Netcare911 Chris Botha said two people were seriously injured and the other five sustained minor injuries.
Botha said they were treated at the scene and then transported to various hospitals for further care.
He added that the police will investigation the circumstances of the accident.
