Messages of condolences are pouring in, following the passing away of the Bafana Bafana assistant Coach Thomas Madigage.

Madigage died in a car crash last night, on the R37 between Polokwane and Burgersfort.

It is alleged that his car hit a stray donkey.

Police Spokesperson Hangwani Mulaudzi confirmed that Madigage was alone in the car when the accident occurred.

Safa president Kirsten Nematandani has expressed his sympathy with Madigage’s family and friends.

The South African Trade Unions Spokesperson Patrick Craven said he will be much missed within the South African soccer community, and hopefully that his example of service to the beautiful game will continue to inspire future generations of players to excel.

Madigage was an assistant Coach at Supersport United before joining Bafana Bafana in July this year.
